After the incredible success of the NO GEARS night in January we have decided to throw a summer party on BANK HOLIDAY monday… NO WORK for anyone…!!!so the difference is this time we are gonna make it a bit more of party.. Its still gonna be at THE CUBE CINEMA in Bristol… BUT We want to get as many people in by 4pm and have a BBQ. Make more of an event at its a national holiday..As the day goes on the Art / Photography exhibits / Films / Music etc will kick in…So anyway this is the drill MON 31ST AUGUST 2009 bank holiday - the cube cinema BRISTOLfor your entrance fee.. this is what will happen1) FREE BBQ - meat / vegetarian + vegan - loads of grubThe BAR will be open from 4pm..2) 2 Bike Films - the 1st is DEATH PEDAL http://www.death-pedal.com/about.htmlthe second one we cant announce til next weekend.. we cant say what it is just yet as the film still has some exclusive launch parties over the next few days.. BUT its a belter thats for sureAs well as the films.. Mr Gavin Strange.. (one of Bristols finest fixed gear riders) will be presenting a trailor of his forthcoming Bristol Fixed Gear documentary he’s making.. - so look out for that one3) MATT 45RPM will be curating an art exhibition and a photogrpahy exhibition in the bar and back room.4) Merchandise stall.. We have picked up some amazing shirts / artwork / dvd etc to sell on the night.. So bring some extra $$ with you if you wish to pick up a killer shirt.. We will have the classic Dead Kennedys inspired Death Pedal shirt on sale. London Fixed Gear Rider / Charge Bikes’ Juliet Elliott has made some killer shirts from her “hell yeah” design company and we will be selling some of those as well.. plus some nice screen prints / posters etc..We will also be encouraging everyone to bring their bikes along.. there is plenty of room to lock them up outside the cube and in the beer garden as well..Gavin will no-doubt be bringing his cameras with so maybe we can have some competions outside the cinema…DJ’s will be playing during the day as well - and in between films..So far we have gotNadoone from Illegal Seagul - playing punk / hardcoreDiggerz - playing some heavy DUB jamzThought Forms - playing space rock and trippy shitTICKETS ARE EXCLUSIVELY AVAILABLE HERE…www.mr45rpm.etsy.comits in dollars but it all goes through in english GBP.the price covers p&pwe have sold quite a few allready…
